Judge Al-Tal Patronizes a Seminar for Young Arbitrators
The head of the Constitutional Court, Hisham Al-Tal, sponsored a seminar entitled "How to become a successful arbitrator" which organized by the Forum of Young Arbitrators of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris with the support of the Jazi Office and its associates / lawyers, legal consultants and the international office Clyde & Co. The seminar aimed to shed light on the practical and applied advice that young arbitrators must have to be successful. Al-Tal pointed out in his speech the importance of arbitration as a means of settling disputes away from the courts, stressing the complementary relationship between the arbitration and the judiciary system in Jordan.in his turn, the lawyer, Dr. Omar Mashoor Al-Jazi presented in the opening speech of the seminar, the basic tips for young arbitrators, especially law students at Jordanian universities participating in the seminar, advising them to acquire communication skills, experience legal expertise and to learn about not only local developments but the latest international and regional developments related to arbitration. This was followed by a dialogue between prominent international arbitrators on the international scene on the one hand and young referees on the other hand.
